The Last Toy Maker
Morning light streamed into the corridor as a child sat watching an elder carefully paint a traditional Myanmar toy. His aged hands moved with quiet skill, each brushstroke preserving a fading memory.
“Why don’t children play with these anymore?” the child asked.
The elder smiled softly. “Earthquakes and time have taken much, but not all.”
In that simple moment, the spirit of Myanmar's heritage lived on—faint, but still glowing in the shadows of change.
